Our Coaches

Ryan Hannan resides in Perth and have been coaching the optimist sailors for the past 18 months. He is our Coach in the Europeans.

Ryan is also competing in his own campaign in Europe this summer in Kiel and the Europeans and Worlds in the Laser class this year. Ryan came 2nd in the Laser Nationals 2008 and 4th in the Asia Pacifics this season.



Diego Figueroa is the Coach we train mostly with in Perth. Diego coaches at Royal Perth Yacht Club and Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club Gold Fleets.

Arthur ‘AB’ Brett is the Freemantle Sailing Clubs Academy Principal and has been coaching some of us for a year at Freemantle Sailing Club.
